Listening Gap Repaired

So when I started this blog, it was easy to convince oneself that it is so simple to keep pace and find interesting things to write about daily or at least weekly.  The assumption of course is that others will find these things interesting as well.

There seems to be a well worn path of blogs left abandoned with the smell of best intentions in the air.  Thankfully this one will not fall prey to such a fate (at least for now), but absence has left the perception perhaps that there has not been any interesting music released since in and around the last entry in May.  Such is obviously not the case and to the contrary, it has been a reasonably eventful and noteworthy year of releases in my opinion.

Without locking myself into a final chart for 2010, given there are almost three months left, I thought the best way to get back in gear would be to give this guy's take on what seem like the 25 best recordings so far this year, give or take another 25.
