Jingle Jangle Fuzz in the '12

Life continues to get in the way of chirping properly about music around here. Hopefully some of the half arsed record reviews in the hopper will surface soon enough.

There is one quarter essentially left in the listening year 2012 and there have been some interesting musical releases so far. Today, I wanted to take a split curation second to consider a handful of 2012 tracks that are strictly guitar based at around 4 minutes or less. Some of them are jingly, some of them are jangly, some of them are fuzzy, but all of them are well crafted quality guitar pop songs that have dropped so far this year. Make sure to brush your teeth after listening. This much clever sugar can give you cavities.

Best Coast - "The Only Place"

Crocodiles - "Sunday (Psychic Conversation #9)"

The Walkmen - "Heaven"

Redd Kross - "Stay Away From Downtown"

Cloud Nothings - "Stay Useless"

Bob Mould - "The Descent"
